The Church is called to experience the same events with all of humanity, while interpreting them through the lens of faith. One expression of such a reading of events is the liturgy, in which the Church addresses God, asking him for the appropriate succour. Responding to the spiritual needs of the clergy and the faithful, the Holy See’s Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments has released the text of a special Mass, entitled 'In a Time of Pandemic'. The content of the prayers contained within it reveal clear theological lines that can help us to live as Christians during this time of trial. This article is an attempt at a hermeneutical reading of the collect of the above-mentioned Mass formula. The analyses lead to theological conclusions concerning such basic issues such as the image of God, the identity of believers, the content of Christian prayer, and the lifestyle that the latter inspires. La pandémie actuelle de coronavirus est un défi pour tout l’humanité. Vivant dans le monde actuel, l’Église est appelée à vivre avec toute l’humanité les mêmes événements, même si elle les interprète à travers le prisme de la foi. Une telle lecture des événements s’exprime dans la liturgie, dans laquelle l’Église s’adresse à Dieu, en lui disant ce qu’elle vit et en lui demandant le secours approprié à la situation actuelle. Pour répondre aux besoins spirituels du clergé et des fidèles, la Congrégation pontificale pour le Culte divin et la Discipline des Sacrements a publié le texte d’une messe spéciale intitulée «En temps de pandémie». Le contenu des prières qu’elle contient révèle des lignes théologiques claires qui peuvent nous aider à vivre en chrétiens durant ce temps d’épreuve. L’article tente une lecture théologique du recueil de la formule de messe mentionné ci-dessus. Les analyses présentées dans le texte mènent à des conclusions théologiques concernant des questions aussi fondamentales que l’image de Dieu, l’identité des croyants, le contenu de la prière chrétienne, et le style de vie que celle-ci inspire. Die gegenwärtige Zeit der Coronavirus-Pandemie ist eine Herausforderung für die ganze Menschheit. Die Kirche ist aufgerufen, diese Erfahrungen mit der ganzen Menschheit zu durchleben und sie dabei durch die Linse des Glaubens zu interpretieren. Ein Ausdruck davon ist die Liturgie, in der sich die Kirche an Gott wendet und ihn um den entsprechenden Beistand bittet. Als Antwort auf die geistlichen Bedürfnisse des Klerus und der Gläubigen hat die Kongregation für den Gottesdienst und die Sakramentenordnung des Heiligen Stuhls den Text einer besonderen Messe mit dem Titel 'In einer Zeit der Pandemie' veröffentlicht. Der Inhalt der darin enthaltenen Gebete zeigt klare theologische Linien auf, die uns helfen können, als Christen in dieser Zeit der Prüfung zu leben. Dieser Artikel ist ein Versuch einer hermeneutischen Lektüre des Tagesgebets der oben erwähnten Messformel. Die Analysen führen zu theologischen Schlussfolgerungen in Bezug auf so grundlegende Fragen wie das Gottesbild, die Identität der Gläubigen, den Inhalt des christlichen Gebets und den Lebensstil, den dieses inspiriert. |
