Abstract :

In the article the author deals with the life and work of the Iranian Khalaj
poet Mosayyeb Arabgol (Moṣayeb 'Arabgol), who has been the most important informant in Gerhard Doerfer’s epochal researchs on Khalaj language that culminated in the three famous Goettingian Iran-Turkological expeditions (1968, 1969 and 1973). Anyway, Arabgol was not only a source of information but also the founder of Khalaj poetry inspired to ‘inaugurate’ this by S. Tezcan, one of the participants of the expeditions and scientific collaborator of G. Doerfer.
