Auf den folgenden Seiten versuche ich auf meine Weise zusammenzufassen, wie die wichtigsten Dokumente und Reden von Papst Franziskus von Seiten einiger lateinamerikanischer Theologen und Kirchenhistoriker rezipiert wurden, die mit der CEHILA, mit Amerindia und mit der Escuela del DEI in Verbindung stehen. Nach vielen Jahren Gegenwind aus dem Vatikan für die Befreiungstheologie ist nun eine günstige Brise zu spüren, die diese Theologie anregt und bestärkt. This reflection on the first five years of the pontificate of Pope Francis concentrates on a small number of key themes that so far appear to confirm the expectation of many Latin Americans that a pope 'from the end of the world' can call attention at the centre of the church and the world to the cry of pain of suffering humanity and the lament of the earth, our 'common home'. In the following pages, I try to show, as far as I can, how Pope Francis’s most important documents and speeches have been received by various Latin American theologians and church historians. These theologians and historians are connected to CEHILA, Amerindia and the Escuela del DEI. After many years during which liberation theology sailed into a headwind from the Vatican, we can now detect a more favourable breeze, which encourages and reinforces this theology. Cette réflexion sur les cinq premières années du pontificat du pape François se concentre sur un petit nombre de thèmes clés qui, jusqu’à présent, semblent confirmer l’attente de beaucoup de latino-américains: un pape «venu du bout du monde» peut attirer l’attention du centre de l’Église et du monde sur le cri de douleur de l’humanité souffrante et sur la lamentation de la terre, notre «maison commune». Dans les pages qui suivent, j’essaie de montrer, autant que je le peux, comment les documents et les discours les plus importants du pape François ont été reçus par différents théologiens et historiens de l’Église latino-américains en lien avec CEHILA, Amerindia et l’Escuela del DEI. Après de nombreuses années durant lesquelles la théologie de la libération a navigué par un vent contraire venu du Vatican, nous pouvons désormais sentir une brise plus favorable qui l’encourage et la renforce. |
