A brief overview of the Babylonian exile and its impacts among the people of Judah is provided, which will be accompanied by a discussion on the implications for psychotherapy. Furthermore, the authors demonstrate the utility of shifting from reflective to future-oriented questioning to assist clients in meaning-making during treatment for trauma. Cet article examine l’exil babylonien comme un moment clé de traumatisme dans le récit biblique, puis réfléchit sur le sens assigné à cette crise par les écrivains bibliques. Il présente un aperçu de cet exil et de ses répercussions sur le peuple de Juda et en dégage les implications pour la psychothérapie. La conclusion montre l’utilité de passer d’un interrogatoire à une réflexion orientée vers l’avenir pour aider les clients traumatisés à trouver un sens. |
