La stèle ainsi reconstituée présente la famille du šmsw šms Iouy, fils du 'nḫ n(y) nỉw.t Ipou. Après analyse des critères stylistique, épigraphique et des formules votives, cette réunion permet de corriger, voire d’apporter des informations sur la provenance réelle de la stèle et sa datation. Ces fragments réunis permettent aussi de rétablir des généalogies de «soldats de la ville» et de «doyens du portail», titres liés au domaine palatial et militaire. Ils apportent enfin des informations complémentaires sur la prosopographie de l’une des élites de la XIIIe dynastie, placée sous la protection d’une divinité abydénienne émergente: Min-Horus-nakht. This article presents the unpublished joining of two stela fragments from the end of the Middle Kingdom. Stored in the Fondation Martin Bodmer at Cologny (Switzerland) for the upper part and in the musée départemental des Antiquités de Rouen (France) for the lower part, these fragments inform us on the family of the šmsw šms Iuy, son of the 'nḫ n(y) nỉw.t Ipu. After the analysis of stylistic and epigraphic criteria as well as of the votive formulae, the joining of the two fragments allows corrections and offers new information concerning the real origin and dating of the stela. It becomes possible to restore genealogies of 'soldiers of the town' and 'elders of the gate', titles linked to the realms of the palace administration and the military. Eventually, they give more information about the prosopography of one of the main elite family of the 13th dynasty, under the protection of the emergent Abydenian deity: Min-Horus-nakht. |
