Mais Origène assure qu’à aucun endroit des évangiles qui circulent dans les églises, Jésus lui-même n’a été appelé char pentier. Plusieurs auteurs ont traité de cette question, mais leurs propositions ne convainquent pas. Nous proposerons une solution plus satisfaisante. Both Justin and Celsus (witnesses of the second half of the second century) state that Jesus himself has been called artisan or carpenter. This is in agreement with the text of Codex Bezae in Mark 6:3. However, Origen guarantees that nowhere in the gospels circulating in the churches, Jesus himself has been called carpenter. Several scholars discuss this issue, but their propositions do not stand firm. We will introduce a more satisfying solution. |
