Abstract :
Recently, the homogenization of fine ware called Orange Ware (Orange Ware Horizon) in the second half of the Iron Age (from the second half of the 8th century BC to the middle of the 6th century BC), in the mountainous lands of the northern part of Iran, has been pointed. In this paper, I analyze unpublished material and examine the range of this phenomenon. As a result, it is possible to offer the possibility that this phenomenon would have spread also in the eastern part and have been more dense Furthermore, I examine their characteristics of form, technic of production, and context. I formulate a hypothesis about function of this ware and the background of Orange Ware Horizon.
