Referring to the exchange between J. Godbout and J. Derrida, Geneviève Comeau speaks about gifts being at the heart of Christian faith as opening relations with others, an invitation to dialogue. This leads to theological questions about interreligious dialogue as a moment of giving and receiving and reciprocity, whereby with hindsight Muslim-Christian dialogue about the person of Jesus may serve as a reference-point. Geneviève Comeau outlines dialogue in general in the sense of a gift of hearers and searchers after truth, as a valuable moment for living together in a pluralistic society, without silencing the wonder and fragility of dialogue. Der Artikel bringt die Diskurse zur (theologischen) Gabe sowie zum (interreligiösen) Dialog – beides als menschliche und humanistische Geste verstanden – miteinander ins Gespräch. Unter Rekurs auf die Auseinandersetzung zwischen J. Godbout und J. Derrida spricht Geneviève Comeau vom Geben als dem Annehmen des Risikos der Beziehung. Sie verortet die Gabe im Herzen des Christusglaubens als eine Eröffnung zur Beziehung, eine Einladung zum Dialog. Dies führt zu den (theologischen) Fragen nach dem interreligiösen Dialog als einem Moment des Gebens und Empfangens sowie nach dessen Reziprozität, wobei der islamisch-christliche Dialog etwa im Hinblick auf die Person Jesu als Referenzrahmen dient. Geneviève Comeau entwirft so den gemeinsamen Dialog im Sinne einer Gabe des Hörens und Verstehen-Suchens als ein wertvolles Moment für das Zusammenleben in einer pluralen Gesellschaft, ohne das Wundersame und die Fragilität dessen zu verschweigen. |
