Abstract :
The UN Convention of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities from December 2006 emphasizes inclusion as a human right. The close relationship between human dignity and inclusion for persons with disabilities sets a new standard. The essay explores the possibilities and consequences of this significant development for outlining disability in the context of theology and diakonia. Some theological insights will be shown that will help us towards a better understanding of inclusion. The text argues that inclusion will be achieved when those with and those without disabilities talk to eachother.
