Il n’arrive plus à communiquer à nos contemporains ce qu’est l’Église et ce qu’elle annonce. Une saine confrontation entre l’Église de Milan et la culture urbaine contemporaine a mené à des transformations en profondeur de l’institution ecclésiale locale, tant au plan de sa compréhension d’elle-même au niveau théologique et symbolique, qu’au plan de son organisation pratique et de son insertion dans le monde, au niveau structurel et institutionnel. The traditional parish model is in crisis. It can no longer communicate to our contemporaries what the Church is and its message. A fruitful encounter between the Church of Milan and contemporary urban culture has resulted in deep transformations of the local ecclesial institution, both in its theological and symbolic self-understanding and in its practical organisation and its connection to the world. |
