Abstract :
Among the Persepolis Fortification Texts, many are identified as 'Ritual Rations'. Six of these mention a divinity named Ishpandarakurtish, sometimes associated with the sign of 'earth'. Spenta Ârmaiti is the only goddess corresponding to this description. The author demonstrates that the sign KUR, included in the name of the goddess, can also be read mad/t in Akkadian and that it could have been used in the Elamite system of writing as late as the Achaemenid period. The name of the goddess can thus be read Ishpandarmattish, the equivalent of Spenta Ârmaiti.
