Some central concepts of the network society, namely 'timeless time' and 'space of flows' (placeless space) are elucidated and viewed in the light of the theological perspectives of Paul Tillich on time and space. The paper concludes by sketching some liturgical implications of the new paradigm proposed by the network society. Cette étude présente un bref aperçu de la notion de ‘liminalité’, centrée sur des perspectives développées par Arnold van Gennep, Victor Turner et Manuel Castels (ce dernier représentant le réseau society ainsi dénommé). Certains concepts centraux de ce réseau society, notamment ‘timeless time’ et ‘space of flows’ (placeless space) sont considérés et analysés à la lumière des perspectives théologiques de Paul Tillich sur le temps et l’espace. Cette étude se termine par une esquisse de certaines implications liturgiques de ce nouveau paradigme proposé par le réseau society. |
