Jesus and Muhammad belong to two different religious traditions; Christianity and Islam, and each one of them is perceived in a different manner in his spiritual tradition. Yet 'both of them' went through similar circumstances created and brought about by modernity in two different religious spheres and two different parts of the world; the East and the West. One commonality binds them together, however: they are both key figures in two world religions, Christianity and Islam respectively. |
