Après avoir passé en revue un certain nombre de propositions (R.P. Knierim, J.-L. Ska, J. Milgrom, E.G. Newing, D.A. Dorsey, V.J. Steiner, T. Römer), cet article n’a d’autre prétention que de recenser les éléments connus qui plaident pour la construction chiastique de Exode-Nombres et la centralité du Lévitique, d’ajouter quelques indices littéraires négligés qui confortent cette hypothèse, et d’en tirer les conséquences théologiques. The recent interest in exegetical research both for final textual forms and for the constitution of large literary units has had, among other effects, a renewed examination of the structure of the Pentateuch (and in some cases the Hexateuch) and correlatively that of its theme or its conceptual coherence. After having gone through a certain number of propositions (R.P. Knierim, J.-L. Ska, J. Milgrom, E.G. Newing, D.A. Dorsey, V.J. Steiner, T. Römer), this article has no greater pretension than that of making an inventory of the elements which argue in favour of the chiastic construction of Exodus-Numbers and the central character of Leviticus and also to add some neglected literary clues which support this hypothesis and to draw the theological conclusions of this. |
