Abstract :
The Anzaf Fortresses consist of two parts, namely the Upper and the Lower Anzaf. The Lower Anzaf Fortress lies 11 km. north-east of Tušpa (Van Fortress), the capital of the Urartian Kingdom, and close to the modern Van-Iran railway and main road.
