Le Vīvēvdād contient quelques citations de textes vieil-avestiques dont certains sont à leur tour traduits en péhlévi. L'article compare les différentes traductions des mêmes passages vieil-avestiques contenus dans le Vīvēvdād et dans le Yasna, ainsi que dans d'autres textes avestiques ou péhlévis. Il cherche à établir si la traduction présente dans le Vīvēvdād dépend ou non de celle dans le Yasna, ou vice-versa. En conclusion, il n'y aurait aucune interdépendance, car les deux traductions procèdent des traductions différentes, même si elles remontent toutes à une source commune. D'autres versions suivent alternativement cekke du Yasna ou celle du Vīvēvdād. The Pahlavi translation of the Yasna is supposed to be younger than the Pahlavi translation of Vīvēvdād. In Vīvēvdād we find several quotations of Old Avestan texts and some of them are translated into Pahlavi. In this article I compare the different translations of Old Avestan quotations in Vīvēvdād with their translation in Yasna an in other Avestan or Pahlavi texts in order to find out if the translation in Vīvēvdād depends on the translation in Yasna or vice-versa. My conclusion is that there no such dependence. Both translations follow different traditions, although both of them go back to a common origin. Other versions follow the Yasna or the Vīvēvdād versions. |
