Le titre fait allusion à la pensée de Jacques Lacan, qui avait tant apprécié la peinture de Rouan. Illustrations couleurs par des photogrammes du film. There is no connection The painter François Rouan, whose work hangs in so many of the world’s most famous museums (from the Metropolitan in New York to the MNAM at the Center Georges Pompidou in Paris), has recently used film as his expressive medium and presents here the “philosophy” of the creation of his latest work. The title alludes to the thought of Jacques Lacan who appreciated Rouan’s work so much. Color reproductions of the film clips illustrate Rouan’s commentary. |
