Abstract :
In the Spanish and European context, feminist theology is developing its creative potential using the metaphor of frontiers and limits. The article explores these possibilities within the framework of the thinking as a whole and of this new paradigm of the science; it also takes account of the emergence of a secular or non-religious spirituality, entering into a dialogue which shows fruitful promise. This exploration enables us to discover the relevance of the critical function exercised by feminist theology on the boundaries of religion and culture, a function that is de-stabilising, paradoxical, therapeutic, de-colonising, liberating, dignifying and wise, among other things, with concrete effects on social and political reality.
