The goal of this conversation was to provide an alternative forum for communication between authoritative structures and the many voices of the faithful. With less confrontational lines of communication open, a wide range of topics might then be discussed in a spirit of openness and sharing. This entire exercise would hopefully lead to new and deeper processes of “Authority and Governance in the Church”. |
