Sont aussi abordés les problèmes de l'existence d'un monnayage parthe en or, et de la datation du roi kouchan Vima Taktu (Sôter Mégas) dont le monnayage présente un trait commun avec la pièce publiée ici. Publication of a gold coin found near Gilgit (Pakistan), which carries on the obverse a legend in Parthian and can be attributed to the Indo-Parthian king Abdagases II (last quarter of the 1st c. AD). The authors discuss also the problems of the existence of a Parthian gold coinage, and of the date of the Kushan king Vima Taktu (Soter Megas), whose coinage shares a particular feature with the coin published herein. |
