Different scientific models of the universe may offer grounds for eschatological hope, although this scientific eschatology is very different from theological eschatology. Despite the differences in language between scientific and theological eschatology, obvious contradictions between the two should be avoided. Pour Jackelén les discussions relatives à l’eschatologie devraient tenir compte des conceptions scientifiques du temps et de la fin du monde. Différents modèles scientifiques de l’univers peuvent venir étayer l’espérance eschatologique, même si cette approche scientifique diffère sensiblement de l’eschatologie théologique.En dépit des différences de langage entre ces deux démarches, il convient de ne pas les mettre en opposition. |
