Uit het onderzoke bleek dat voornamelijk 'te' gebruikt werd, terwijl 'in' pas populair werd in de grote steden in de 15de eeuw. De keuze van een bepaald voorzetsel is bepaald door de status en positie van de genoemde plaats of door het tweede deel van de plaatsnaam. Internally localising prepositions on Oldfrisian records In this article will be discussed the place, role and function of so-called internal locating prepositions in Old(west)frisian records. It has been found that especially te has been in use, whilst in has grown popular in the major towns since the end of the 15th century. The choice of a certain proposition is determined either by the status and position of the mentioned settlement or by the second element of the Place Name. |
