Abstract :

Myxoma is the most common benign cardiac neoplasm. A 66-year-old woman presented with a large left atrial myxoma, which was detected by a real-time threedimensional echocardiography (RT3DE) and a real-time three-dimensional transoesophageal echocardiography (RT3D-TEE) approach. RT3DE and RT3D-TEE proved to be techniques that can provide additional contributions to the diagnostic investigation of structural heart diseases.
