ISSN : 0066-6785 CATEGORIES : History, Theology | Archivum Historiae Pontificiae is an annual journal published under the auspices of Faculty of History and Cultural Heritage of the Church of the Pontifical Gregorian University, Rome. At its inception in 1963 within the then Faculty of Ecclesiastical History, the journal was intended for the study of the history of the Papacy and the Popes. Today it accepts all studies on the cultural heritage of the Church that contribute to the history of the Papacy in a broad sense. Each issue contains studies on specific aspects of pontifical history or critical editions of unpublished documents (Articuli), extensive comments on recent research (Notae), reviews of books, exhibitions and congresses (Recensiones), a bibliography of all the relevant publications of the last year (Bibliographia), and an overview of all the publications received by the Editorial Board (Opera ad redactionem missa).
