This leads, in turn, to a critical examination of his so-called “transcendental method” particularly in the light of the “turn to the other” characteristic of much contemporary theology. It is argued that there is a similar, at times only implicit, dynamic in Rahner’s work, a dynamic that underscores the unsystematic and apophatic character of his work. |
