Luz's monumental EKK commentary on Matthew will comprise four volumes: Mt 1–7 (1985), Mt 8–17 (1990), Mt 18–25 (1997), and Mt 26–28, “hoffentlich in etwa drei Jahren” (cf. VIII)1. The Preface to the third volume is signed September 1995; and works published in the 1990s up to 1994 are included in the Bibliography. For example, references to Ennulat's 1990 dissertation in vol. II are now updated in vol. III with references to the published text (1994)2. D. Hagner's second volume (Mt 14–28, 1995) is not mentioned. Compare now also the ICC commentary by W.D. Davies and D.C. Allison, vol. III (Mt 19–28, 1997). |
