It is located at the foot of Mt. Amassa, at the southern end of the Judean Hills, overlooking the Arad Basin. The article is a report of the excavation of this church. Attention is particularly paid to the mosaïcs discovered there, which form the starting point of a discussion on 8th century iconoclasm. |
