Document Details : Title: Khabur Ware from Hakkâri Author(s): ÖZFIRAT, Aynur Journal: Ancient Near Eastern Studies Volume: 39 Date: 2002 Pages: 141-151 DOI: 10.2143/ANES.39.0.501778 Abstract : The origin, developments and distribution of Khabur Ware are issues that have been much discussed. Recent excavations in the hitherto unexplored region of Hakkâri, in southeastern Anatolia, yielded a chamber tomb replete with goods, among them fragments of Khabur Ware. Though few in number, their association with examples of Van-Urmia ware, for instance, have significant chronological implications. |
