The reason for this is a methodological deficit: until now, a mythical concept to analyze the passage has been lacking. This article aims to identify and interpret the meaning of the mythical motifs of these verses within the primeval context using a new mytho-analytical approach that was developed by scholars of Antiquities and Assyriology at the University of Göttingen. However, the analysis will be conducted here within the broader context of Gn 6:1-8. Bien que les commentateurs considèrent unanimement Gn 6,1-4 comme un «texte mythologique», ils restent perplexes quant à ce pont entre les récits de création et de déluge. La raison en est un déficit méthodologique: jusqu’à présent, il manquait un concept mythologique permettant d’analyser ce passage. Le présent article vise à identifier et à interpréter le sens des motifs mythologiques de ces versets dans un contexte primordial à l’aide d’une nouvelle approche mythico-analytique développée par des antiquisants et des assyriologues de l’université de Göttingen. Toutefois, l’analyse est proposée ici dans le contexte plus large de Gn 6,1-8. |
