Commencing from a call for terminological clarity, especially as regards the term: Armenian Parabiblical literature, it deals first with the fact that other terms, such as apocrypha and pseudepigrapha, have also been used in the study of these works. Then, the social functioning of the Armenian parabiblica is discussed and its role in the formation of Armenian Christian culture. Finally, the proposed research procedure is set forth. |
