Abstract :
In this article, I propose to revisit the role of imagination in the constitution of the ambient world through the prism of fiction. Between narration and perception, the aim will be to understand how the creation of meaning and imaginary objects finds its source and its possibility in the very first sensory data. On the basis of the dialogue between Ricoeur and Castoriadis on the on-going reconfiguration of the historical narrative and the meaning of the lifeworld by all human societies, I will focus in this fundamental process on the modus operandi of creative imagination by using a little-known analysis by Ingarden.
