Document Details : Title: A New Coptic Fragment of Severus' 'Cathedral Homily 67' Author(s): MOROZOV, Alexey Journal: Journal of Coptic Studies Volume: 27 Date: 2025 Pages: 169-183 DOI: 10.2143/JCS.27.0.3294757 Abstract : This paper presents for the first time the Coptic text of a fragment from Severus’ 'Cathedral Homily 67', contained in a leaf from the Austrian National Library (Papyrussammlung, K 9657). In his brief introduction, the author presents the content of this identified fragment, provides a description of the White Monastery manuscript containing this text, and offers a comparative analysis between the Coptic and Syriac versions of 'Homily 67'. A diplomatic edition of this fragment is also provided, accompanied by an English translation and commentary. |
