To this end, it shows how the problem of technology does not appear exclusively in Meditation on Technique but can be found in numerous earlier and later texts. Ortega y Gasset’s novel conception of technology or technique is thus revealed as a thematic nucleus that constitutes one of the keys to his philosophy. A better understanding of his proposal can help us to understand and respond to the challenges of our technologized world. |
