Document Details : Title: Laatmiddeleeuwse passiegebeden in de volkstaal Subtitle: Een verkenning vanuit het St.-Agnesklooster te Maaseik Author(s): ROSSANO, Bram Journal: Ons Geestelijk Erf Volume: 94 Issue: 4 Date: 2024 Pages: 295-337 DOI: 10.2143/OGE.94.4.3294382 Abstract : ‘Jhesus croen’, ‘Arnulf van Leuven: Middle Dutch translation of Salve meum salutare’, ‘pseudo-Francis: Prayer to the five wounds of Christ’ and ‘Rosengaert vander mijnlijker passien ons heren’ are the most popular passion prayers in the convent of St. Agnes (Maaseik). In order to expand the study of late medieval literature on the Passion in the vernacular, these prayers are studied in detail by analysing their composition and content, as well as their transmission and distribution in the Low Countries and the neighbouring area. |
