Yadin, who was able to read only a few words on this slip, suggested that it contained Exod 13:1-10. Our new transcription of XQPhyl 4 confirms Yadin’s suggestion. Moreover, the newly-read text yields multiple variant readings shedding light on the early transmission of Exodus 13. Cette étude est une tentative de déchiffrage de XQPhyl 4, un tefillin publié par Yigael Yadin en 1969. Yadin, qui n’a pu lire que quelques mots sur ce rouleau, a suggéré qu’il contenait Exode 13:1-10. Notre nouvelle transcription de XQPhyl 4 confirme la suggestion de Yadin. Le nouveau texte présente de multiples variantes de lecture qui éclairent la transmission d’Exode 13. |
