Das uns von Herrn Assad in London zur Bearbeitung übergebene Manuskript enthält auf ca. 200 Seiten eine Sammlung von Köroglı-Erzählungen, von dem wir hier zunächst 18 Seiten edieren, übersetzen und kommentieren. Die Handschrift dürfte etwa im 19. Jh. geschrieben worden sein, doch ein genaues Datum findet sich nicht. Die aus der Köroglı-Überlieferung bekannten Motive liegen hier vor, doch genaue Entsprechungen zu einer in arabischer Schrift aufgezeichneten Fassung oder zu mündlichen Versionen konnten wir noch nicht ausfindig machen. Bemerkenswert allerdings ist, daß auch die Türküs aus anderen Quellen nicht bekannt sind. Es ist anzunehmen, daß der unbekannte Verfasser in der Tradition des Köroglı zwar bewandert war, sich aber offenbar nicht an eine fixierte Version gehalten hat. With this essay, the authors want to draw attention to an extraordinary manuscript of the Köroglı tradition. The manuscript, which was given to us by Mr. Assad in London, contains a collection of Köroglı tales on approx. 200 pages, of which we are first editing, translating and commenting 18 pages here. The manuscript was probably written around the 19th century, but no exact date can be given. The motifs known from the Köroglı tradition are present here, but we have not yet been able to find exact correspondences to a version recorded in Arabic script or to orally transmitted texts. It is remarkable, however, that the Türküs are not known from other sources either. It can be assumed that the unknown author was well versed in the Köroglı tradition, but apparently did not adhere to an established version. Les auteurs de cet article souhaitent attirer l’attention sur un manuscrit exceptionnel relatif à la tradition des aventures de Köroglı. Le manuscrit de 200 pages qui nous a été remis par M. Assad à Londres se présente comme un recueil de récits de Köroglı, dont nous éditons, traduisons et commentons les dix-huit premières pages. Le manuscrit a probablement été copié au XIXe siècle, mais il n’y a aucune indication de date plus précise. On retrouve les motifs traditionnels des aventures de Köroglı, mais nous n’avons pas pu établir de correspondances exactes avec une version copiée en caractères arabes ou avec une version orale. Il convient toutefois de remarquer que les Türküs ne sont pas connus non plus d’autres sources. On peut supposer que l’auteur (inconnu) connaissait bien la tradition liée à Köroglı mais qu’il ne s’est pas appuyé, semble-t-il, sur une version fixée. |
