Document Details : Title: Quelques repères de la pensée sociale chrétienne devant la révolution numérique Author(s): MAGNIN, Thierry Journal: ET-Studies Volume: 15 Issue: 1 Date: 2024 Pages: 29-46 DOI: 10.2143/ETS.15.1.3293065 Abstract : La révolution numérique, qui s’étend bien au-delà d’internet et des réseaux sociaux, transforme nos modes de vie et de travail, nos relations avec les autres et avec le monde, ainsi que nos représentations du réel, du vrai et du bon. Analysant ces transformations, le présent article propose des éléments de la pensée sociale chrétienne et de l’anthropologie ternaire corps-âme-esprit comme points de repère devant les questions d’éthique et de sens posées par le numérique aujourd’hui. Nous situons l’apport du numérique à l’action de l’homme, avec ses aspects positifs et ses dangers, dans le cadre de la théologie de la création, notamment la théologie dite de création continuée, dans laquelle s’inscrit l’influence de l’homme sur l’évolution de la nature et sur sa propre évolution. Nous étudions tout particulièrement ce que devient la dignité humaine dans cette transformation numérique. Pour cela, nous mettons en regard les technosciences numérisées qui réduisent l’humain à une machine et les récentes découvertes des sciences du vivant qui montrent, au contraire, la complexité de ce dernier. Ces sciences mettent en évidence des interactions biologie-psychisme-pratique spirituelle qui entrent en résonance avec la grande tradition d’anthropologie chrétienne «corps-âme-esprit», sans confusion des domaines. Nous en déduisons quelques points de repères originaux pour respecter la dignité de tout humain au temps du numérique, en mettant en évidence des différences fondamentales entre l’intelligence humaine et l’intelligence artificielle. The digital revolution, which extends far beyond the Internet and social networks, is transforming the way we live and work, our relationships with others and with the world, and our representations of what is real, true and good. In analysing these transformations, this article proposes elements of Christian social thought and the three-part body-soul-spirit anthropology as points of reference for the questions of ethics and meaning posed by the digital world today. We situate the contribution of digital technology to human activity, with its positive aspects and its dangers, within the framework of the theology of creation, in particular the theology of continuous creation, which includes man’s influence on the evolution of nature and on his own evolution. In particular, we look at what happens to human dignity in this digital transformation. To do this, we compare the digitised technosciences that reduce what is human to a machine with recent discoveries in the life sciences that show, on the contrary, the complexity of human beings. These sciences highlight interactions between biology, psychology and spiritual practice that resonate with the great Christian anthropological tradition of 'body, soul and spirit', without confusing them. From this we deduce some original points of reference for respecting the dignity of every human being in the digital age, and that highlight the fundamental differences between human intelligence and artificial intelligence. Die digitale Revolution, die weit über das Internet und soziale Netzwerke hinausgeht, verändert die Art und Weise, wie wir leben und arbeiten, unsere Beziehungen zu anderen und zur Welt sowie unsere Vorstellungen von dem, was wirklich, wahr und gut ist. Bei der Analyse dieser Veränderungen werden in diesem Artikel Elemente der christlichen Soziallehre und der dreiteiligen Anthropologie von Körper – Seele – Geist als Bezugspunkte für die ethischen und die Sinnfragen vorgeschlagen, die die digitale Welt heute aufwirft. Wir verorten den Beitrag der digitalen Technologie zum menschlichen Handeln mit seinen positiven Aspekten und seinen Gefahren im Rahmen der Schöpfungstheologie, insbesondere der Theologie der creatio continua, die den Einfluss des Menschen auf die Entwicklung der Natur und auf seine eigene Entwicklung einschließt. Wir untersuchen insbesondere, was mit der Würde des Menschen in dieser digitalen Transformation geschieht. Dazu vergleichen wir die digitalisierten Technikwissenschaften, die den Menschen auf eine Maschine reduzieren, mit den jüngsten Entdeckungen in den Lebenswissenschaften, die im Gegensatz dazu die Komplexität des Menschen zeigen. Diese Wissenschaften heben die Wechselwirkungen zwischen Biologie, Psychologie und spiritueller Praxis hervor, die mit der großen christlichen anthropologischen Tradition von 'Körper, Seele und Geist' in Resonanz treten, ohne die Gebiete zu vermischen. Daraus leiten wir einige innovative Bezugspunkte für die Achtung der Würde eines jeden Menschen im digitalen Zeitalter ab, die die grundlegenden Unterschiede zwischen menschlicher und künstlicher Intelligenz hervorheben. |
