In particular, it continues the inventory already begun in the first part and draws a first conclusion on this topics. The first article of this series contained all verbs derived from the Indo-Iranian preverb *ā- + root. The subject of Pashto preverbs, never treated before, is particularly stimulating for the implications that it has for the interpretation of contemporary Pashto verbal morphology. In particular this study deals with the Indo-Iranian heritage and aims at providing a quick inventory of all Simple 'Naked' Verbs containing the ancient preverbs. Omitted from this analysis are all verbs that nowadays can be considered as 'Compounded', and that will be treated in another article. Cet article poursuit l’étude des verbes pashto contenant des préverbes indo-iraniens hérités. En particulier, il continue l’inventaire déjà entamé dans la première partie et tire une première conclusion sur ce sujet. Le premier article de cette série contenait tous les verbes dérivés du préverbe indo-iranien *ā- + racine. Le sujet des préverbes pashto, jamais traité auparavant, est particulièrement stimulant pour les implications qu’il a pour l’interprétation de la morphologie verbale du pashto contemporain. En particulier, cette étude traite de l’héritage indo-iranien et vise à fournir un inventaire de tous les verbes simples «nus» contenant les anciens préverbes. Sont exclus de cette analyse tous les verbes qui, de nos jours, peuvent être considérés comme «composés», et qui seront traités dans un autre article. |
