However, as secularisation progresses, a common language and possible understanding disappear. Nevertheless, the spiritual questions and needs remain, whatever their confessional identity. At the present time, the generation of people who did not normally have any religious education and socialization in the Czech Republic have come to the age of typical clients at hospices. It means that there is a great challenge for the staff at hospices, first of all for the pastoral workers, priests etc. This article presents a proposal for the stages of spirituality and describes one of the Czech hospices where we can see a strong emphasis on spirituality. The experiences at this hospice may be beneficial for other countries where the process of secularization began a little later. Dans le passé, les sentiments et les besoins spirituels des personnes en fin de vie relevaient de la responsabilité du prêtre, du pasteur ou d’un autre ministre religieux. Cependant, à mesure que la sécularisation progresse, un langage commun et la possibilité de se comprendre disparaissent. Néanmoins, les questions et les besoins spirituels demeurent, quelle que soit l’identité confessionnelle. À l’heure actuelle, la génération des gens qui, en général, n’ont reçu ni éducation ni socialisation religieuse en République tchèque a atteint l’âge des clients typiques des hospices. Cela signifie que le personnel des hospices, et en premier lieu les agents pastoraux, les prêtres, etc. sont confrontés à un défi de taille. Cet article présente une proposition pour les étapes de la spiritualité et décrit l’un des hospices tchèques où un fort accent est mis sur la spiritualité. Les expériences de cet hospice peuvent être bénéfiques pour d’autres pays où le processus de sécularisation a commencé un peu plus tard. In der Vergangenheit standen die spirituellen Gefühle und Bedürfnisse von Menschen in der letzten Lebensphase in der Verantwortung des Priesters, des Pastors oder eines ähnlichen religiösen Seelsorgers. Mit der fortschreitenden Säkularisierung verschwinden jedoch eine gemeinsame Sprache und ein mögliches gegenseitiges Verständnis. Dennoch bleiben die spirituellen Fragen und Bedürfnisse bestehen, unabhängig von ihrer konfessionellen Identität. Heute ist die Generation, die in der Tschechischen Republik meist keine religiöse Erziehung und Sozialisation erfahren hat, in das Alter der typischen Hospizklienten gekommen. Das bedeutet eine große Herausforderung für das Personal in den Hospizen, vor allem für die Seelsorger, Priester usw. In diesem Artikel wird ein Vorschlag zu Stufen der Spiritualität vorgestellt und ein tschechisches Hospiz beschrieben, in dem die Spiritualität einen hohen Stellenwert hat. Die Erfahrungen in diesem Hospiz können auch für andere Länder hilfreich sein, in denen der Prozess der Säkularisierung etwas später begonnen hat. |
