The subject, never treated before, is particularly stimulating for the implications that it has for the interpretation of contemporary Pashto verbal morphology. In particular, this study deals with the Indo-Iranian heritage and aims at providing a quick inventory of all Simple 'Naked' Verbs containing the ancient preverbs. Omitted from this analysis are all verbs that nowadays can be considered as 'Compounded', and that will be treated in another article. This article contains all verbs beginning with ă- in Pashto and derived from the Indo-Iranian preverb *ā-. Cet article, le premier d’une série, étudie l’existence de préverbes indo-iraniens en pashto. Le sujet, jamais traité auparavant, est particulièrement stimulant pour les implications qu’il a pour l’interprétation de la morphologie verbale du pashto contemporain. Cette étude porte en particulier sur l’héritage indo-iranien et vise à fournir un inventaire de tous les verbes simples «nus» contenant les anciens préverbes. Sont exclus de cette analyse tous les verbes qui peuvent aujourd’hui être considérés comme «Composés», et qui seront traités dans un autre article. Cet article contient tous les verbes commençant par ă- en pashto et dérivés du préverbe indo-iranien *ā-. |
