Gregory‘s text is examined in the light of the whole Greek and Armenian exegetical tradition on the parable. While showing to collect the main elements of the previous tradition, Gregory re-elaborates the parable in a completely original way within his own spiritual dimension, where the poet’s self merges with the salvific history of humanity. |
