Stefano il Protomartire in armeno Author(s): CALZOLARI, Valentina Journal: Revue des Études Arméniennes Volume: 41 Date: 2022 Pages: 253-270 DOI: 10.2143/REA.41.0.3291887 Abstract : After a short overview of the main writings of the corpus on St Stephen in Greek and Armenian (Revelatio, Translatio, Passio, Laudationes), this article offers the first edition of an unpublished Armenian Martyrdom of St Stephen preserved in the MSS 992, 4774 and 4822 of the Matenadaran of Yerevan. The edition is followed by an annotated Italian translation. A special attention have been paid to the links between the Martyrdom and both the canonical Acts and the Christian apocryphal literature. |
