The analysis is not limited to arms factories, about which a certain bibliography already exists, but it extends to all sectors where productions directly organized by the State are documented. Specifically, the distribution of the factories is analyzed. An interpretative model based on ‘districts’ is introduced in relation to the waterways and the more likely distribution routes of the products. Finally, the model is used to hypothesize a probable amendment to the text of the Notitia, concerning the identification of the Fabrica Lucensis Spatharia. |
