In order to solve the ethical dilemma of artificial intelligence, machine ethics put forward the theoretical presupposition of moral computation. However, there are methodological challenges in the theoretical presupposition of moral computing in moral theory, background representation, moral phenomenon and subjective initiative. In addition, according to advocates, moral computation as a better moral explanation provides an epistemological basis for the ethical turn. However, this ‘revolution of moral thinking’ itself has many limitations. Therefore, to realize the integrated development of moral philosophy and intelligent machines, we can consider the status of machine ethics to crack the ethical dilemma of methodology and epistemology, and bring the behaviour of intelligent machines more in line with ethics and morality in the human sense. |
