The author here reports two seasons of a survey focused specifically on and around basalt landforms in Ceyhan (Adana), Erzin (Hatay) and Hassa (Hatay). The survey succeeded in finding Palaeolithic and Aceramic Neolithic, and later prehistoric, chipped stone. These results are presented and some of the implications of the results are discussed. |
