Document Details : Title: Modelli interpretativi e pluralità di metodi in esegesi Author(s): BETORI, Giuseppe Journal: Biblica Volume: 63 Issue: 3 Date: 1982 Pages: 305-328 DOI: 10.2143/BIB.63.3.3220853 Abstract : In view of the pluralism of current exegetical methodologies, constant recourse is had to models for interpretation of texts, be these more ancient stages of the text, as in historical-critical exegesis, or schemes of a logical character as in structural exegesis. What advantages does the use of a model offer to interpretation? With the analysis limited to a narrative text, an examination of the contribution from the philosophy of history (H.-I. Marrou), from epistemology (K.R. Popper), and from philosophical hermeneutics (H.-G. Gadamer), helps to see in the logical dimension of the different models, the source of their interpretative power. At the hermeneutical level this opens up a perspective of unity in the exegetical methodologies. |
