Document Details : Title: La christologie d’Ephésiens Author(s): HERMANS, Robert Journal: Biblica Volume: 92 Issue: 3 Date: 2011 Pages: 411-426 DOI: 10.2143/BIB.92.3.3188815 Abstract : This essay proposes to read Eph 1,23, as follows: the πλήρωμα is Christ, the fullness of all God’s graces. And the participle πληρουμένου is a neuter passive, whose content is the actual blessing brought by God to its fullness in all the believers. Eph 1,23 can then be translated like this: 'Christ is the fullness of what is fully accomplished in all the faithful'. |
