The Letter Ξ of the alphabetically arranged florilegium contains three chapters, each of which consists of one or more excerpts: this adds up to a total of nine fragments, taken from Christian authors from the 2nd to the 7th century. All of the excerpts deal with topics relating to the Tree of life and the Tree of the knowledge of good and evil (cf. Gen. 2.9–3.7). |
