Document Details : Title: Werkpositionen und Bildertheologie - eine Bootsfahrt durch Kunst und Glauben Author(s): JOSWIG, Benita Journal: Journal of the European Society of Women in Theological Research Volume: 19 Date: 2011 Pages: 183-192 DOI: 10.2143/ESWTR.19.0.2157476 Abstract : In this article, different art projects by Benita Joswig are represented from an artistic and theological perspective. These art projects contain a religious aspect that is not simply added by interpretation or entering 'from outside'; rather questions of faith are immanent to the artistic work. In other words, what opens up to the reader, is a kind 'theology of the image' that relates art, religion and church to each other. |
