It also refers to more hostile readings reflected on various blogs and websites. The author argues that a test for the lasting importance of the Common Word process is its ability to manage the relationship between text and community. He presents recent developments linked to the process that aim at furthering Christian-Muslim dialogue on the level of parishes and mosques. He suggests that 'A Common Word' may have a lasting appeal that goes beyond those who routinely engage in interreligious dialogue, and he points to some requirements for the realisation of this potential. |
